    Spain
Deutschland uber alles, if any of the others get to host this then there has to be something wrong with the European Tour and USPGA.

Langer for captain and Kaymer should have a few additional majors by then and growing popularity of golf in Germany with Kaymer's success..Here's hoping anyway.

    Just my two cents.

I was listening to Greg Allen's analysis on RTE just now. He said France have long been firm favourites and that probably still remains the case.

However, there has been a late push for Spain on the back of Seve's death. He said the only thing possibly standing against them is that they have hosted it once previously.

Hopefully Madrid because their course will be by far the most interesting.

I hope Spain get it but Germany own Europe so don't be suprised if they win it. At least we got the Amateur World Cup of golf in Ireland in 2012 lol and everyone is welcome. 4 day to get a chance to play aginest chinese, thai or UK, etc golfers. Now theres a game you can't lose lol

Good for France to get it, great course to host a Ryder Cup.
The place will be able to hold massive crowds.

At the time the decision was made 3 people on here had picked France.

This thread should really be locked to ensure that the credibility of the Golf forum is not brought into question.

Good for France but crazy that there are only 400,000 registered golfers in France versus 300,000 here in Ireland, hopefully this will help boost their numbers.

Some fine players they have too, Raphael Jaquelin is a possibilty for a future Ryder Cup if he can get another run going.

i'm delighted that France got it. I'm in no doubt that the Golf National course will put on a spectacular tournament. The last 4 holes are superb and will provide great finishes to matches.
