    Hi Folks,

there was a fantastic choir, for want of a better word, at 12noon mass last Sunday. I didn't get their collective name something, something...peace!

Does anyone know who they were?

After some investigation I discovered that it was the Omagh Peace Choir (Waterford) led by Phil Brennan (Gorey '64). Brilliant! Harmonies and counterpoint were tight and excellent diction with clarity. The lead guitar solo, in rock/soul style, was superb. Well done to all and thanks to whoever arranged the visit.
Looking forward to their next visit to Gorey and hope to hear them in concert sometime.
