Can buy half sets of irons????

    Would be grateful if someone here can clear something up for me.

    I got custom fitted for a new set of irons a while back. Called them up last week to order 6iron through to 9iron and was told that they can't order any less than 7 clubs from Ping. He also said that it would be the same for any other set of clubs. I always thought you could buy Pings, Titleists, Taylor Mades by the iron?????

    I use hybrids rather than long irons and I prefer vokey wedges - hence why I'm looking for a half set.....

    give fore golf a ring as they build the clubs themselfs they should be able to do a half set

    If you broke a iron you could order a replacement so i can't see any problem you could try and order them direct from ping.

    It was Fore that told me I had to buy a minimum of 7 irons but Ping came back to me with the below "Thank you for your e-mail regarding Ping golf equipment and we confirm that G15 irons are available from 3 iron to lob wedge and there are no restrictions on combinations of irons".

    It's a bit of a killer buying a couple of irons I'll never use but I've already spent €100 getting fitted...

    As far as I know Argos do half sets, not too sure of the quality though. I also saw single clubs in Elverys.
