You really need to watch the video before you comment on this one!

What are you talking about! McCaw is one of the world's best rugby players. I think it's really pathetic that you would make a thread devoted to your own ridiculous opinion of a Rugby God.

Well that settles it. Handsomecake knows nothing about rugby and we should all ignore everything he has to say. I would ask that everyone not bother watching the video, just read the thread title and trust in me when I say Handsomecake really does thinks mcCaw is a cheat and so knows f**k all about rugby.

I was making a joke. Anyone who's been on this forum for a while, wouldn't even have to open the thread to know handsomecake is joking.

Handsomecake is an irishman who is an avid supporter of New Zealand.

    the game is from 2002.

fair play to mccaw he was the first in to help the ref.

the kiwi 8 and sa 9 took a bit longer to react.

So that's why Mccaw gets preferential treatment by refs!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,207 ✭✭✭durkadurka

    Fair play to him

That's impressively fast reaction time by McCaw. That said, I'm mystified as to how anyone thinks that it's a good idea to attack the ref on a field of thirty very big men who run right along the edge separating competition from straight-up assault. Attack the ref in a football match? Maybe. Attack the ref in a rugby match? At the scrum, so there's sixteen of the biggest and most aggressive ones right beside you? That's pushing into Darwin Award territory...

He's one more concussion away from a bib and a speech impediment. Fearless player but he needs to think about his health after rugby.

unless something has happened since November , he is ok - he had so much time for everyone, its rare in this day and age, of the superstar, that a professional athlete is so approachable and humble - anyway apologies again for my initial outburst

Of course he cheats but only for the benefit of his team. Most of the time he gets away with it and fairplay to him for that. But he definitely not the only one..look at Quinlan(remember HC final and getting Pelous sinbinned).

If Ireland dont win WC:eek: will be supporting NZ and the great McCaw

I know it was allowed back then, but he makes absolutely no effort to release the player as the tackler.

    Shameful stuff

    Impressive reactions there

If you look closely he was pulled onto the other side by O'Driscoll. Typically Irish biased responses on here.

This post reminds me of this:

Why attack a bench full of angry canadians?

Lol thats commical Hazys. What a donk, he got abount 15 slaps in the space of 30 seconds there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,207 ✭✭✭durkadurka

Fu*k that, McCaw is a scumbag!! It was a high tackle and then he didn't release the man on the ground, and the ref couldn't have gotten a closer view of it if he tried.

Some players are just above the law it seems.

Loved the whole "wheel him away on buggy" thing while he clutched his arm. He could have walked and been treated about 5 minutes earlier.
