Behringer EP1500W problem

    Hi all,
    I hope I'm posting in the right area, but i have a problem with the above amp. It has 2 12A fuses inside (1 for each channel) and when the amp is powered up with no input or output load, the fuse for channel 1 blows. Does anyone know what could be causing this, or if I'm posting in the wrong area, direct me to where i should post.

    Im not sure but only guessing that it is designed to be used with a load on the curcuit and without any speakers hooked up there is no resistance so the fuse blows because the current gets too high, remember V=IR so if R (resistance) is tiny or non existant then I (current) goes towards infinity. This is similar to the way a valve amp should not be used without a speaker hooked up.

    Thanks 68, but the fuse for the 2nd channel remains intact when powered up, just channel 1 fuse is blowing
