Can i assign BC2 cd key to a new account?

So i have 2 versions of BC2 on pc [long story] I have one on my SSD [EADM version of BC2] and other on steam on my HD. Im trying to set up one of them on my sons pc but when i create a BC2 account for him and add the cd key its already tied to another account ie mine. The thing is i assigned both the EADM and steam codes…

So i have 2 versions of BC2 on pc [long story]
I have one on my SSD [EADM version of BC2] and other on steam on my HD.

Im trying to set up one of them on my sons pc but when i create a BC2 account for him and add the cd key its already tied to another account ie mine.
The thing is i assigned both the EADM and steam codes to my BC2 account way back when the game was released never thinking id be using the second one on another pc.
Any way around this at all?
