Hello, just wondering are all the first year computer courses common for 1st year? The following is a link to module breakdown for software delvelopment.
    https://modules.itsligo.ie/moduleman.pl?programme_id=64&type=Preview_User_Programme_Html
This module breakdown is the same across the board for the computer courses. What I want to know is it common for 1st year and can you choose what to specialise in 2nd year? Any info welcome.
    Thanks

Yes. The computer courses in IT Sligo are a common first year.
They include aspects of all the other computer courses.
So to answer you question you can decide after the first year which aspect of computers you wish to specialise in.

I was in the first year of this "new" course in 2004. was great, as I switched my degree in second year from systems and networking to software development :) good course, good college and a good town to go out in :)
