    Can anyone confirm that Kilduff is on the air and what channels are being used? In addition is it digital only?

    Yeah it's on the air about 3 weeks now. It goes off occasionally but less so since it went officially live on saorview's coverage checker. My parents are receiving it well. However it was off the air yesterday but is back on air now. Hope this helps It's on channel 52H. If you are trying to pinpoint where it is for pointing an aerial it is just northeast of Templemore Co. Tipperary near the Devil's Bit mountain.

    I just tried tuning Kilduff for digital today but didn't get anything.
    The TV is compatible and I could see an analogue TV3/TG4 signal but not the digital.
    Anyone get it working, for digital I mean.

    Don't think there's any analogue from Kilduff, how close are you to the transmitter & what kind of aerial do you have?

    Hi Vince, I think I have it now, at last, thanks.

    I was taking SaorView.ie's advice and thought my aerial didn't need to be moved;
    If you currently receive TV3 as an analogue service through your aerial then your aerial is most likely fine and is pointing in the right direction. You should not need to do anything with your aerial.

    It turns out it did need to be moved!
    I turned my aerial about 90 degrees and got a good signal.

    Btw,my aerial is this one, works perfect.

    As an added bonus it turns out my SAA7131 tuner card in my Medion PC 8833 also tuned perfect with the new channels!

    Thanks all.:)

    The Mt. Leinster area is perhaps where the TV3 coverage comparison doesn't work so well. RTE never mentioned to the public of course that the entirety of analogue aerials used for Mt. Leinster are not nearly as good at picking up the two Saorview muxes, except for where the odd grid aerial is being used.

    i am only a few miles from this kilduff site.
    all i need now is a set top box and to turn the aerial.

    its just to the right of the devils bit, if you are close enough and have binoculars you should be able to see it. there are a few other masts up in the same location.

    I'm about 8 miles south east of Kilduff and getting a perfect picture with a set-top antenna.
