I plan on taking out my fireplace and replacing it with a Stove to provide some additional heating to my OFCH. I need to replace my copper cylinder to a twin coil and it was recommend to me by the plumber to buy a stainless steel one as they hold the heat in much longer. They are costing about 450 extra for a 200L one. Is it worth the extra money?

It's the type and amount of insulation on the cylinder that holds the heat not the material it's made from. If you live in a hard water area the stainless cylinder is better.
