Could it be a mag problem? Have you tried different mags??

Not sure, as I have no mags to test with. When you pull out the mag, the usual 3-4 BB's fall out of the feeder, so I doubt thats it.

Well the only thing I can think of is the mag is not feeding the BBs far enough into the hop. Hence when you turn it upside down they just fall in. Is the mag sitting right in the mag well??

I find sitting it down and not letting it leave the dinner table helps :D

But seriously, have you tried silicon oil in the mag? I had trouble with my f2000 feeding and this helped it. Also check to make sure the feeding port is actually going into the mag properly.

Thanks, I'll try that now :D, how does the dinner table one work?? :P

Firing pin??? Do you mean air nozzle or cylinder head??
If you turn it upside down is it firing properly or are the BBs just firing every direction?
Still sounds like an issue with either the mag or the way the mag is connecting to the hopup unit. Or maybe your hopup unit is loose and not sitting on the air nozzle right?

If your not sure about opening up the AEG I would leave it into your local retailer for repairs because you could more damage and it could end up costing you alot more than it needs to;)

Not the air nozzle either, what retailers are there that offer repair at budget prices?
BB's fire in a straight line

It really just sounds like a mag feeding issue. Most retailers charge around the same 25-30 if they have to open it up. There is a few lads on here that do it on the side aswell I know Leftylip does it. Might be worth your while dropping him a PM and seeing what sort of price he is. Also QAS in blanch have a great Rep for repairs or even hobby. Depends on where your based.
But would really recommend your try a different mag or push the mag up into the mag well when firing and see if that helps as it could also be the mag catch not holding it properly.

did you open up the magazine? i had a similar problem with my m4 hi cap... 3 or 4 bbs falling out as usual but it refused to feed....
took it apart and found that the little spacer on the feed wheel had come off and jammed up the whole thing....

    now it works perfect!

This really sounds like a mag issue.

Try the silicon oil trick, maybe mag spring has gone weak? I have 2 AK-47 mags that have the same problem. Try the same on the MP5K mag.

    Cheers.

Think he tried that. Sounds like the mag isn't connecting to the hopup chamber correctly.
