I think you have to have a multiroom sub as well to qualify for the sky player on xbox and on pc.

You don't need a multiroom sub for Sky Player,it mirrors your original package and can be used on an X Box 360 with a gold account or on a computer.Handy if you're going away and want to watch Sky.
Set up an account on MySky and away you go,you will have to install Silverlight on your computer for it to work properly-takes 2 minutes.

Handy alternative for people who want multiroom but don't have a landline.

Yes but only if you are within Ireland or the UK. It works great on the XBOX 360

Its really handy.. I have my parents account linked to my Xbox in my house.. The on demand feature is brilliant.. Stores tonnes of movies and tv shows!

Only problem about the live tv is that some times certain movies or programs are "unavailable" on sky player.. Seems a bit silly as you are paying for the channel but cant watch it!!

I became a Sky customer a few weeks back, but have been unable to use Sky player. It keeps on saying Microsoft Silverlight is not installed. I have removed it and reinstalled several times, but it still won't work. Is there anything else I can try?

    Thx

Use Firefox as your default browser,it works best with silverlight.

You can also get it throuh Windows Media Centre if you have Windows 7 - I have it set up and its great. Picture quality can vary for me as my broadband speed is junk but when I have good speeds its really good
