I don’t think it’s a good idea. Because of the history of cancer in my family I thought about getting genetically tested for cancer a couple of years ago. It would have told me if there was a good chance I might develop cancer but I know myself I wouldn’t have been able to live with that axe hanging over my head.
Knowing when I was going to dye, no way, Id be living according to a countdown clock.

That test is about as accurate as them idiotic facebook quizzes considering the amount of chance situations that can kill you.

What happens if I die before the date they give me? Do I get a refund?

This reminds me of a joke in Goodfellas
"The doctor gave me six months to live, when I told him I couldn't pay the bill he gave me twelve months!"

Meh. If it says you'll die in ten, and you quit your stressful job, eat better, and live life... and you'll probably live longer.

My point: it's at that point in time. It's akin to betting based on information that you have, IMO. Everything says X horse will win in Y amount of minutes, but during the race, the horse may falter, may not, but you just don't know.

If there was a genuine method of determining my exact departure date, I wouldn't want to know. Although it would be like having a big itchy scab and being told not to scratch it. I know I'd eventually break, and then spend the rest of my life nervously counting down the days...
