Won't be in Ireland to collect jobseekers benefit payment

    Hi all

I am posting this on behalf of a friend:

He has to travel to London for a few days. This means he won't be able to collect his jobseekers benefit on Wednesday like he normally does.

Is it possible for him to arrange to collect his payment the following week?

    Cheers

As far as I know you have 3 days to collect your payment, Other wise your friend would have to go to his/her local sw office and explain why they are not collecting there payments,The rules are you must be available in this country to take a job if one should arise,They are also allowed to take a weeks ? holiday,I am not 100% on all this so the best bet would be to go to there local sw office and ask them.
