Just heard a story about it today where a girl was permanently blinded over it.

I reckon its just the very very wide coverage of media, this stuff has always happened. Just now theirs quick way to get it to everyone around the world with camera phones/internet.

Oh this is happening in Malaysia right now isn't it? Apparently some Indian guy is driving around with his motorcycle splashing acid at random people (mostly girls) faces. That's terrible!

The thought of someone doing this to another human being makes me sick to the stomach. I saw on Maury's TV show (who by the way is a legend) an acid attack victim who's injuries were way worse than the pic in the link above. some guy was driving a taxi. He was waiting in traffic lights with his window down. All of a sudden, some lady came out of no-where and chucked a pot of boiling oil in his face. His injuries were horrific. I nearly cried. These people are cowards. Imagine if this happened to a relative of yours. I know if it happened to someone that I knew, I'd want the same to happen to the person who done it. Either that or throw them in a paper shredder.

So in short, yes I think, after murder, it's one of the most disgusting crimes a person can commit!!
