Friday of last week Citi group did a reverse stock split of 10 -1. The share price was readjusted to reflect the new shares. shares closed about $4.50 friday and teh new price was about $45 last monday so about $40 difference. If you have placed a spread bet friday at €1 would you have been well up by Monday or would the sb firm just readjust the prices in reflection of the change in shares?

There is no free lunch here. Of course the price would be adjusted accordingly.
