Sorry mods if this doesn't belong here but hoping someone can clarify some things for me as I'm finding conflicting answers on the internet!

I've been on Microgynon 30 for over 6 months now, never had any problems with taking it till now. Basically I was due to start my new pack on Wednesday, which is nomally my day off work so that helps me remember. My week was totally jumbled up and I was a day behind in my mind so thinking Thursday was actually Wednesday I took Wednesday's pill on Thursday. I've only clocked today that I've got it wrong when I looked at my pack and realised that I was taking Saturdays pill today...(just have not been with it this week!)

So the leaflet says to take the missed pill as soon as you remember it then carry on with the pack as normal. But I'm confused if I should take the extra pill now seeing as the pill I missed was now 4 days ago?? Should I take 2 pills tomorrow to get me back on track with the pack or should I throw out the missed pill and take extra precautions for a week?

I don't want carry on with the pack as it is now where I'm effectively a day behind with them as it will change my day of the week to start a new pack to Thursday and I know I will have problems remembering it if it changes, so should I just throw away the missed pill or take the two at once??

    Any help appreciated folks :)
