The actual D-Limk box. About to order one after falling in love with the desktop app. I'd love someone's opinion about using it in Ireland first though.

Yes, I have, I pre-ordered one and am very happy with it. Plays absolutely every file I throw at it, 1080p .mkvs too.

    Here's the thread about it:

I got one at the same time as Pog, last november, from amazon. It has been a real hit with the whole family, and gets more use than the satelite box.

Handy for boring visitors with family holiday photo's & home movie's.

The 'watch later' feature is handy for marking youtube clips in work, and watching them later.

The rte player works on it, once you maximise it.

It is a bit price (£184.98 on amazon) compared to other opinions but I happy that it was money well spent.

Ordered! Thanks guys. Absolutely can't wait for it to arrive. Gf and the mammy both loved the layout / simplicity of the desktop app, I can see this going down a treat in the Banquo household.

And now to save for a decent telly.

As soon as I have enough money, I'm getting one. They're much better than the WD alternatives on the market. :D

Why would they be much better than the WD's? It's almost double the price!

This is supposed to be coming soon http://iomega.com/iomegatv-media-center/ was announced in january, its probably gonna be a bit pricey though, still worth considering, has up 2TB of internal storage, a nicer box for under the telly and what looks a potentially decent remote too, am seriously considering it.

Sorry, should have been more specific. I have this WD TV HD-

I'd prefer the online connectivity, and a better reason to have a Netflix account. ;)

According to the tracking code TNT sent me, it was dispatched on 22 April from Rotterdam, and delivered to 'Herr Paulini', Hamburg, on 26 April.

    Sigh.

    /calls TNT
