Three person rumble. Rules query.?

Hi just looking for some opinions on a problem we had today with a tournament.

We played a three person rumble today and three teams finished with the same stableford points total.

The rules used are as below:

    Scoring is by Stableford.

On the first 6 holes (1-6), the best single score for these holes is recorded in the appropriate columns (A,B,C,D).

On the next six holes (7-12), the best two scores are recorded in the appropriate columns.

On the last six holes (13-18) all three scores are recorded in the appropriate columns.
If a player is unable to score at a hole, he/she should pick up his/her ball in the interest of keeping the play moving
These are rules for 18 hole 3 Person Rumble.

As this is not a GUI recognised competition there is no official rule on how to decide a winner in the event of tie.

In your opinion do we go back and count the last 9 holes as is the case in other competitions, or are teams separated on the last 6 holes as it as three tier competition.

Has this ever happened to you before and in your experience what were the rules in the event of a tie.

There is some contention about what way it should be decided as a different winner will result with each way..

Appreciate any feedback you might have.

    Thanks

    last 9, 6, 3, 1 for me.
The fact that the scoring changes has no bearing, it was the same for everyone.

Agree with GreeBo, last 9, 6, 3, 1. This has always been the way to decide a tied score.
