I am looking for a script for one of the 30 minutes comedies on rte.

Something along the lines of Killinaskully.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

    thanks

Thought you were looking for a comedy?

I wonder would RTÉ let you have one if you asked

I can point you in the direction of the television forum, if that would help?

I don't see why they wouldn't but the problem would be actually finding a script. All the hard copies have probably long since been recycled and God knows who might still have a soft copy.

One possibility is to contact RTE and try to get on to the Subtitling Department or maybe the Publishing Department and see if they have any records. Not sure if a programme script is covered under the Freedom of Information Act or if they'd even have a record of the script but it's one option.

Another option would be to try contacting Pat Short through his website as he produced Killinaskully as well as other programmes.

I have an idea and i want to tailor the script to rte guidelines. I have seen their programming requirements and a script of a show they aired would give a good guideline.

Sorry, if you had worded the question this way at first I would have left it in CW. There's a fairly standard layout for scripts - I think anythign not in Final Draft might get rejected.

This thread covers the subject - fatboydim has a load of experience in this.
