new phone with meteor

i am thinking of switching over from meteor pay as you go and getting a samsung galaxy s on meteor bill pay smart paying 30 euro a month. free calls and texts to meteor are only valid for 12 months so after the 12 month contract is the phone actually mine and can i switch the phone back to pay as you go?????
