Can you get a regular cleaning at the dentist with the medical card?

yes under the new medical card dentist scheme that was brought in last year you are entitled to 2 check ups per year and 2 fillings free of charge, as far as im aware you are entitled to 1 cleaning free of charge per year

It's one free annual check up, two fillings free per calendar year and extractions/infection treatment as emergency. Routine cleaning/scaling no longer free on medial card unless it is linked to some emergency condition such as disease or pre surgery etc.
