    Hi there,

I'm looking for compression tester(for petrol cars).

I've seen one in Halfords recently but it's not suitable for my car.I need one with 21mm port.

Any idea I could purchase it?

Alternatively is there any place (Dublin,Kildare are) where I could rent it for a day?

I'm planning to do overhaul of the engine and compression tester is a good indicator.

    thanks for advice.

The draper one isnt bad, comes in at less than €20, you can also get two adapter fittings for it too, that will pretty much cover lots of different engines...

For engine overhaul/rebuilding a leakdown tester is much more accurate as an engines ability to hold compression is more important then its ability to make compression.
