The missus is due in court on Tuesday for non-payment of fixed charge notice.

She recently started a new job and it was a lot of hassle to organise the time off. The other day, she got a letter advising that an application will be made for an adjournment and she will be advised in due course of the adjourned date.

When she goes to court on Tuesday, can she object to an adjournment as she will unlikely get time off midweek again anytime soon?
If it is adjourned, can I represent her on the new date?

    Thanks for yor help.

    Yes.

No, unless the judge specifically permits you to do so.
