I do not believe SR-25 mags are interchangeable with M14.

Is there any such thing as a short M14 mag? I dont care if they are hi, mid or lo cap, I just want a short mag that fits.

Decoy, did you see the bottom of the second link? What do you make of it?

as previous mentioned the m14 mags will not work, they do not sell short m14 mags although you can make them out of m14 plastic mid caps

g&g do make a short sr25 magazine although it can be hard to pick up at times http://www.asgc.co.nz/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=32&products_id=1237&osCsid=oubn4fn9d3knfbsag21fjnqdt5

you can pick up cheap mid caps as well hear http://www.taiwangun.com/magazynki_magazynki_aeg_mid-cap/magazynek_mid-cap_na_170_kulek_do_replik_serii_sr25_p_j-2618.html

the 7.62 pmag you linked to will fit although i believe they are about the same size as the standard sr25 magazines

Since the PMAG fits both, I thought that all mags might be interchangable. I do have a plastic mid cap that I hate. How hard would it be to shorten it?

I don't think the PMAG fits both SR-25 & M14, I would ignore the bottom of that second link as the results of an advertising cookie

M14 mags are interchangeable with other M14's, and even then, not always across all brands. SR-25 magazines are closer to a STANAG 7.62mm type, ergo PMAG style should fit as an alternate-look magazine.

as dex said it all depends on the make, ca m14s magazines ( and there clones ) are not compatible with tm m14 ( and its clones )

the pmag defiantly do not fit in the m14
