Grass cutting on side of roads

Why arent the council cutting the grass this year on the sides of road,it looks terrible,i presume its a lack of money?

The grass on the paths outside my house, and the green areas have been cut twice in the past month. I'm in DLRCC though, maybe that has a bearing on it.

Thanks to the Queen the grass on the Naas Road has been cut to an inch of its life!
