    hello

Need recommendations on a decent hotel to stay in Galway that is walk-able to all the good pubs/restaurants/etc.. for weekend towards end of August 2011. Will be booking 4 twin rooms for 8 lads (its not a stag!). A good residence lounge being a must! Would like to keep to €100 or less a night per room B&B.

Really do not now Galway city very well so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Garveys, right on Eyre Sq

Not the most modern of hotels and certainly not the best
    But it's pretty cheap.

You should get a room under €90 and haggle, always haggle
8 people is some good business and you'll be spending money

And the bar will be open to residents, the porter will just set you in a corner.
No problem with staying there drinking
