:confused:Here are some of the apparent benefits of Sugaring:
    • 100% pure and natural
    • It’s never hot so it will never burn the skin
    • Does not adhere to live skin cells so it is less painful and less abrasive
    • Safe for eczema or psoriasis
    • Easy clean up, you will never leave sticky
    • More sanitary, never touches another client
    • Can extract shorter hairs
    • Leads to permanency faster since you can extract the hair in the shorter, active stage of growth before it is nourished
    • A major advantage of body sugaring is the “pain factor”. It is less painful than wax. One of the contents of sugar is salicylic acid. The acid enters into the hair follicle and weakens the root, making the pull less painful.

How does sugaring brazilian compare to waxing pain wise?
Here is a video I found with a recipe for recession sugaring http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7v-p8pW07iEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7v-p8pW07iE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMQ8dygx48o

    Probably better bet here. :)

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I havent tried it myself, but from what I have read it is meant to be a lot less painful. You can apply in in the opposite direction to hair growth and then rip off the strips in the direction of the hair growth..
The rubbing off method of doing it looks like its virtually painless, but Id imagine the first time doing it would be sore for anyone!

Im going to give it a go though!

I am too, i've gotten waxed before and the skin was bleeding supposedly sugaring does not cause this to happen

I thought I had replied to this, but obviously not!:o

Sugaring v waxing-so much less pain with sugaring. If you use the hard ball method(taking a lump of sugar paste and applying it to the skin with your hand) it tends to be even less painful as you have so much more control over it than ripping a srtip off. The fact that the sugar only really sticks to your hair helps too, and it can be reapplied over the same spot if you miss some hairs, and will rarely bruise. I've gotten to the stage now where I can wax my legs in front of the tv and not look down. Also, you can sugar new growth hair, that you just couldn't remove with regular wax as it is too fine.

Sugaring a Brazilian.....I'm not sure I'm brave enough to do that though!! :D

So I had the sugaring done and the verdict is that sugaring takes longer but is slightly less painful than waxing.
positives were no bleeding and you can have a hot shower etc a few hours afterwards
I took 2 painkillers but still found the brazilain painful legs were ok.
