buying apps in market

    i went to buy fun putt golf the full version.on my market its price is 2.11 euros but when i go to pay for it its 2.99.
    can anyone explain that please?

    ps i tried it with a few more games and they all add on to the price to.

    but it says 2.99 euros
    try it yourself.its 2.10 euros to buy and then when you go to pay its 2,99 euros

    You're looking at the US Dollar price listed alongside the Euro price. Here's a screengrab, just checked.

    Edit: I have never been charged more than the listed Euro price, on the Android Market.

    Use the market on your phone. On mine when I say buy it definitely says its going to charge me €2.99.

    Subtotal, total and buy all show €2.99

    It does start off at about €2.11

    i emailed seltice systems and they said its advertised as $2.99

    I'm sure its dollars, but just displays the euro symbol by default. I've bought a few apps and never had a price increase on checkout.

    Wouldn't that work the other way? $2.99 fixed price and ~€2.11 estimated?

    If it has the ~ symbol beside it then its an estimation and not much to worry about, you'll likely only be charged around the €2.11. I believe they estimate high to cover themselves.

    but when i go to buy it my visa card number is listed and the charge is € 2.99.

    lol im going to drive you all mad over 3 euros.but im just asking thats all.

    look at shazam encore for example ~€3.42 starting off then €3.99 when you go to checkout.
    im beginning to think its currency related.
