Was planning on buying a jeep, have seen a nice 00 long wheel base landcruiser. It seems to be in very good condition, very clean inside and out, now i know the clutch is something to watch out for on these but is there anything else i should be keeping an eye out for?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Pre D4D ones are pretty good, check the transmission all works OK, see if you can lock and unlock the centre diff.
Some of the 90 series had problems with cracked heads usually Automatics.
Take it for a run and make sure it isn't spitting coolant out.
Rear lights in bumper can rot away and stop working, check them out under the car.
Hand brake can give hassle if not adjusted correctly.
Check all bushes and steering rack bushes for excess play/sloppiness.
Crawl under and check the driveshafts front and rear are good and not too worn, if they haven't been serviced they can wear the UJ spiders symptoms are shunting on overrun.
Oil change is every 6k miles.
Apart from that they are pretty reliable vehicles.

Thanks CJ, sound advice there. Gave a good look around it, it seems a very solid jeep. Everything is spot on, no knocks or rattles. And no rust patches anywhere. Its at its new home now anyway so hopefully it will do me justice. :)
