    Dunno what's good about it.
It's street fighter with breasts made of jelly.

Why do people dismiss this series because it's got fan service? It doesn't play anything like Street Fighter either.

    Probably the volleyball game.

And the setting that allowed you to set the breast-jiggle level. It's pretty much the only video game series that I wouldn't be surprised if it just got reworked into a porn game.

This comes pretty close to Street Fighter IV as the best 3DS game so far.
Loads of cut scenes which give the 3D effect a good work out, plenty of modes and characters.

    5/5 for me.

Played this late on Thursday night at one of these secret launch events. Anyway it's pretty decent, great control, handling is excellent and I found it easier to play then SF4 - also I doubt the online service will be plagued with so many people who simply fireball you to death.

Just after getting this today - so far, I'm on the 4th chapter of Chronicles Mode.

From what I've played so far...
    • Some cutscenes look pretty awesome (with/without 3D), but can be really lengthy
    • Other cutscenes are partially animated - looks a bit ridiculous to see the character's hair swaying while the rest of their body remains completely motionless (even while talking...)
    • Loading screen for battles are beautiful <3

Aside from that, I don't think there is much different (gameplay-wise, at least) from the previous DOA games I've played - pulling off a counter seems somewhat more difficult, although that could just be from the fact that I haven't played DOA in a year or two :P

    Yeah that's in Sweden though.
It all started when some guy said it (the new law) was silly on an internet forum, citing this game.

    Talk about backfire.

The guy was using it a reductio ad absurdem argument against Sweden and Britain's Orwellian cartoon "porn" laws. (If you look at comedic Simpsons porn you can be registered as a sex offender alongside filthy child rapists.) (One of the characters in the game is seventeen in the Japanese version.) The irony was the distributors decided not to release the game in Scandinavia because of the reaction from his post. It wasn't banned, they just didn't want the moral panic from the gutter press. Australia is practically a police state and has banned more games than the rest of the world put together.

    Double-plus good game though.
