Rich and famous for being crap: Would you go along with it?

If you became very famous and were given the chance for great wealth for being crap at something (eg. a really bad audition on a talent show like the "Ken Lee" woman), would you..
welcome the fame and fortune, and say to hell with the public ridicule accompanying it,
    or..
be too pissed off/upset/embarrassed at being mocked and shy away from being in the public eye, turn down all offers to appear on tv etc.
    or..
be too principled to make wealth for lacking in talent
    or something else?

Better than the original in many ways....

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

Yea, if it's fame for being crap, it will eventually die away(probably), then you are left with the money and none of the hassle with comes with being known.

You're not going to last long in the business if you are ****. You'll get your 15 minutes of stardom and a few $$$ then its back to being a talentless joesoap with a massive house that you can no longer afford.

Its a vicious cycle which most are sucked into.

But seriously, I wish I had just an ounce of the talent Mr. Hanky has in just one of his shards of peanut.

Hell yeah, play it for all it's worth. Get as much money as you can and soon enough no one will even remember you.

I feel sorry for that guy.

Before he was caught slipping on camera, he was the 6th richest man in the world.

Damn you, thought I was safe tonight when I didn't see him about :pac:

I had a sandwich last Saturday after coming in from the pub.. it had toast, butter, bacon, cheese and red onion & sweet chilli relish on it that I found in the press.

I was glad I found it - it was a fucking heavenly sambo. I nearly went blind eating it, it was that nice.
