    Hello Boardies,
I'v just got a replacement wing for my car but its silver and I need to paint it met wine.
I'm going to do it myself so don't tell me to carry it to someone.

All I want to know is when I sand it down to get a key do I need to use a primer all over it again or just on parts where Iv gone down to bare metal as there is a few small tiny bits of rust.
    cheers lads

awh lads lads.....i didnt go at it yet...why would i be asking questions if id already fooked it up.in fairness a love Edd too,we all no mike is the clown! haha!
i wont be going at it till next week.
il just take my time and loads of wet sanding to get a decent finish? the car is a 98 so no matter how bad my attempt will be it will prob look better then the finish on the rest of the car.
iv done some spraying before. i actually find those halfords cans easy to use.the flat angled spray ones.
i mite take a few before and afters alright maybe....watch this space as thay say!!lol
