    Hey guys,

Myself and a few mates were thinking of doing a bit of travelling in Europe for a week or so in September. I was just wondering if anyone here had any general tips/advice on things to see, getting around, etc... as none of us would be too well versed or too experienced in travelling. Any advice greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!!

It really depends on what part you are thinking of going - East or West?
Check out if there are any festivals on, some can be very cool!
For accomodation I prefer hostels as its a great way to meet people and
find out about whats going on in the area. If your students bring your student cards!!
Or anything that looks like one if you not - some countries give big discounts on transport etc.

Regarding ID, get yourself an ISIC card (International Student Identity Card) it's the only internationally recognised ID, access to lots of discounted travel, food, music festivals etc - www.isiccard.ie (Irish site to buy the card) and www.isiccard.org (worldwide benefit listing)

    Enjoy
