Hey all, need quick advice, I'm off to Miami on a business junket there in a week or two and i've been advised that the dress code for one of the meetings is 'tropical business casual.' Anyone got an idea what that means? Also 'Poolside business casual'. They are very particular.

No clue what they mean, what crazy terms! For tropical business casual, I would make a guess at something like a linen suit perhaps, in cream/white/tan. Formalness of business wear as it's a suit, but the fabric and colour is casual.

Couldn't even guess poolside business casual.

I'd go for tan/brown linen trousers and a lightweight short sleeve shirt. I'm torn about footwear though, I hate sandals but they seem appropriate here... loafers maybe? pack a Hawaiian shirt!

Sure put on a speedo underneath and you're ready for anything ;)
