    Hi

    Inheritance tax how can one avoid paying it? I mean could you auction (private treaty) off some property and sell it to a family member for lets say 10 euro, can revenue do anything to you then? What are other options?

    I think the revenue apply an open market value to any asset. There are various allowances for relatives.
