    how ya doin folks ive heard mixed things about this from different people and at the moment its too late to call to the local office so imm just wondering would anyone on here be able to give me a link or some information they might know

    i have asked in a local garage about an apprenticeship but unfortunitly they arnt busy enought but would do it if it was tru this scheme as i had done my work experiance for collage tru them so if anyone had info please let me know

    Not sure if this would be possible but it would make some sense.
    Maybe best to check with your local Fas centre.Good luck with it,you are showing a good bit of initiative.

    as far as i know (well heard ) there is an internship thing been set up with afaik 23k places but you have to be recently finnished collage with a degree for this and you get an extra 50 euro in your payment a week for 20 hours.

    unfortunitly i dont quallify for this as i dont recently have a degree but have a placment for internship or apprenticeship if i can do it tru the dole as fas have been no help to me atal over the last year.

    and the apprenticeship is for 700 of the 400 odd k signing on in ireland but what i would like to know is will the higher up in social wellfare be deciding who gets these like pickin out a random 700 people or do you apply for it.
