Fatty Fatty, Radio Made & The Farmboy presents “Down on the Farm”, a 12 hour session taking place on Saturday 14th May in the picturesque backdrop of County Kildare. The party kicks off at 1pm and runs until 1am.

Buses to the event will be departing from the Bernard Shaw pub in Portobello, hourly from 12 noon until 3pm. Buses will transport everyone straight back to an after party in Dublin.

Tickets for the event are €25, this covers travel to and from the event, entry into the event & entry into our organized after party back in Dublin. For those of you who wish to pre-book your ticket you can purchase them on event elephant. This €25 is a donation to cover transport costs and the up keep of the venue.

    Acts on the day

Since their long, successful careers in the 1980s stockmarket, Hystereo, over the last 5 years, have slowly become one of Ireland's top dance duos, following their Corporate Crimewave album, they have had a string of successful rebrands from Deadbots, Digitialism & Lowbrows on such label like Soma, Craft & Advanced.

TR-One have come to prominence with a string of releases on their own Broken Audio Movement label, as well as Irish labels like Nice’N’Nasty and Bodytonic’s POGO imprint. Their DJ sets are filled with sheer dancefloor winners from funky soul and disco all the way up to bumpin’ house and techno.

They will be joined by Kev Sheridan and his infamous ‘One Man Loop’ show. Using a variety of electronic gadgets to make modern dancefloor beats, Kev sings snatches of popular hits over them, as well as adding live percussion into the mix as he beats out rhythms on a variety of traditional African drums.

A selection of Ireland’s finest DJ’s and producers from some of Dublins top labels will also be showcased at the event, with a sweet blend of sounds, from dubstep to disco, from hip hop to house.

The farm is an unlicensed venue and thus everyone is more than welcome to bring their own alcohol. No glass is permitted on the farm so, please, take this into consideration. Plastic containers, cups, a fridge facility and ice will be provided for everyone throughout the day. Toilet and cloakroom facilities will also be available. The party is fully insured and is being run with the co-operation of the local Gardai and Hospital.

Keep with the theme of the farm, we are very excited to announce that festival goers will be able to enjoy the culinary skills of The Organic Kitchen, which won the Green Award at last year's Electric Picnic, and don't worry veggies, there will be a veggie option.

This is a private party and you have been invited as friends of those people playing on the day or as friends of the organisers. There is no payment at the door nor will there be a paying guest list.

As we said before, once invitations are accepted, you will be asked to make a donation of €25 to cover transport costs and the up keep of the venue.

Ten per cent of any proceeds will be donated to Self Help Africa, a charity dedicated to empowering rural Africans to achieve economic independence through more advanced farming methods and collective bargaining with suppliers.
