Booking.com FRAUD

Hey, I booked hotel with FREE CANCELLATION with booking.com in Thailand (Ko Lanta). After a month I see transaction for e200 on my visa statement.

I am supposed to travel in august and based on their terms and conditions they will charge me once I'm there.

So I rang them and they said they have nothing to do with it as description in my statement was for different hotel than the one I have booked.

So I send the hotel email and they said - one I've booked do not have card system, so they use theirs.

It is not per-authorization transaction as it is there for over a month and was not refunded yet.
I have already canceled this hotel (free).

I though that booking.com would keep my card details safe, instead they gave it to somebody in Thailand (with potential of many more frauds). Be very careful about this page!

I have also contacted my bank to investigate this transaction as booking.com is rather ignorant than helpful in solving it.

Waiting to see what happens :). And I though I can trust popular page like that.

i am looking forward to book a hotel in Amsterdam for Visa purpose. I hope they won't give out my details like this. Probably this happened because it was Thailand.
