Played it a few weeks ago. Can't say I liked it at all. Some nice holes but they have address their draining problem by layering small stones (not joking) on some fairways. Ground was very hard and my calves were in bits after it. Lack of signage meant we lost 12 holes by accident (around the 10th). There's a par5 where we genuinly didn't know which green to go for as there are 2 green next to each other. Went for the one on the right and it turned out to be the right one. Whatever about the course and restaurant in the hotel is nice and has nice views over the 18th. The staff were appalling when we were there though...must have been waiting 40 minutes to get our food. The 2 guys behind the counter were like moving statues...weren't doing anything. Rosses Point was closed for the West of Ireland and I would play there every day before playing once again in Castle Dargan. Pity as it has the makings of a nice course. Beautiful scenery too.

It has the same problem as Lough Erne.Liked it before but
    it has gone backwards.

played it this week - wet and covered in sand - placing on all fairways still .
Nice course but if its slightly wet you should wear your worst clothes and golfshoes as my wetsuit bottoms were worse than after 3 days at the k club ryder cup.
Greens were slow but they may not have cut them that day.
