I really want to get a nursery chair before baby arrives (First time mother) and was just wondering if anyone bought the Supremo Bambino Glider Chair? Has anyone any recommendations for any other good, solid chairs? It doesn't have to be a glider or specialised nursery chair. Thanks for your help!

The ikea poang chairs and foot stools are good too.

I have http://www.topbuy.com.au/tbcart/product/Love-N-Care-Glider-Chair-Black-p31264.htm got it from kiddicare.com for £100, it is really comfie but tbh rarely used as a feeding chair.
You really need a wipe clean one,do not get a material one.

+1 on the poang chairs or similar - we have two of these that we got from instore years ago and I found them brilliant for everything baby related. Ours are cream leather and so whenever there's a spill/spit-up etc, all it takes is a baby wipe, and it's good as new again.

As far as feeding is concerned, I found the "L" shaped pillow was brilliant - in bed, on the couch, in a chair - couldn't have managed without it!

best of luck with it all - it's such an exciting time! :)

You definately need a breast feeding pillow to save your back. It makes a huge difference.

    What's FTM?

+1 on the pillow and making sure the chair is wipeable.

Sorry FTM is First Time Mother.
We're looking at the Kub Arden at the moment.....anyone using one of these and any comments? Also like the look of an Ikea chair but the fact that it doen'st have cushions on the arm rest is kinda turning me off it.

I've also 5ft 10 and my husband is 6ft 2, just conscience that we get a chair that is easy to get out of and has a tall/long back for support.

I have the supremo glider chair and I LOVE it! It was great for breastfeeding and really comfortable even when I wasn't breastfeeding!

I have it in the corner of my bedroom now and I'd often sit in it and read when its not covered in clothes :D I always wanted a rocking chair and pregnancy was the perfect excuse to get one!

Crazy Cat Lady - is it solid and sturdy (husband wants to know!!) Is the padding on it plush and comfy?

Also anyone using the kub arden and what do you think of it?

I think it's down between the kub and the supremo at this stage.
    Thanks for the replies.

I think its fairly sturdy yeah! And I have found the cushions very comfortable. The pockets in the cushions on the arms are great for keeping a magazine/book, Nintendo DSi etc... in them And if you do bottle feed its great to have the pockets there for popping the bottle into too. I was very sore 'down there' after having Megan and it was the only chair I could get in and out of without too much difficulty. My dad is quite a hefty chap and he fits comfortably into it and the chair doesn't seem to be strained! Megan is now 16 months old and loves to get in it and rock it back and forth like a looper

The only thing I would say is that if you can get dark coloured cushions then do. My cusions are cream and although they have stayed fairly clean, I know they aren'tas clean as they were when I bought it
