How do we solve long term unemployment???

When things were Booming these people were still on the scratcher, some drinking n gambling days after day. They get free this n that houses the lot. It's come to the stage where even foreigners come in and abuse our over generous welfare system.they get free medical care n same treatment in hospitals as the guy who works 40 hours a week payin his stamps...and they contribute nothing to society and without generalising too much they cause alot of the problems costing big $$$$.....
As a nation are we F'in mad to allow this????esp now with the way things have turned out for those who want to work n simply cant find anything....
(obviously in not pointing at those unable to work for medical reasons and before people start going on about sick people this n that!!!)

To sum it up OP. Life isnt fair as they say.
You could break your back to make an average wage. While someone else can be on the social getting 200+ a week and also doing stuff on the side (nixers)

A person close to me said, more than once, life is about what you can get. They're right.

How do we solve long term unemployment? Simple - we ignore it for years, until we have a massive unemployment crisis. Then, in the middle of the night, we suddenly get as mad as hell and decide that we're not going to take it any more. Then we start really monotonous threads on Boards, making toweringly ignorant sweeping statements about foreigners and the unemployed.
