Alternatives to bank bailout

    I have seen the question posed many times but have yet to see an actual viable alternative that didnt depend on many uncontrollable variabler.

    Were there any viable alternatives broached?

    Yes. Letting the banks go down and wiping out depositors in the banks.

    Any multinationals that had their deposits wiped out would have never, ever trusted Ireland again and we would have had a collapse of FDI.
