its actually quite useful when used by Journos, when outlets use it for ratings and clicks it seems to be a concerted effort to kill it. By evoking the response you just had.

Yeah i remember it well. I could never get into the whole twitter. I'd only follow a couple of spanish papers for the sports relating to Barca and Real, transfers nothing else.

talk it could be capello resigning, and will actually be announced at 11pm.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,596 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

Rumours that FA will announce Capello's resignation at 11pm. Retweeted by BetFair football, but don't see any decent source for it.

    wow

Spurs will be looking for a new manager in summer then, big loss for them (if the above is true)

I wonder if he was offered a job back in italy with a top club? It would be a strange decision and totally unexpected.

    Harry for England.

True but maybe he's fed up of all the criticism and wants one last club challenge

It actually wouldn't be a bad time for spurs to get a new manager in. I don't see Harry taking them much further.

True Juve would love to have him I'd say

Royale's post above also probably true. Totally depends on the manager that can be got to replace him though.

Who could they get better than Harry?

Personally I think they are just 2-3 signings away from challenging for the PL

    Capello >>>>>> Juve.

    Harry >>>>>>> England.

    Benitez >>>>>>>> Spurs.

Keeps Liverpool out of the CL in his first season.:pac:

Roma are on teh lookout for a new manager too - Ancelotti been heavily linked but he could end up there (again? - was he there before or is my mind playing tricks?)

Wouldn't be surprised if he made a huge difference to the team considering we don't seem to use tactics at the moment.

Benitez would represent a massive coup for Spurs. He is good at all the things Harry doesn't bother with.

Ya I think Roma was Ancelottis first club. Capello was definitely at Roma too at some stage.

Sky News reporting the appointment of a QC to the FIFA Corruption inquiry. Nothing to do with Capello quitting. It's all nonsense.

Capello won Serie A with Roma.

It would be excellent for English football if Capello was to be sacked/resign and should have happened after the World Cup. It won't happen though, not until after he fails once again in Euro 2012.

These "big" stories only end up being disappointments because everybody on the Internet get their collective knickers in a twist.

And on a sidenote, people need to learn to differentiate between a journalists twitter account and actual official newspaper tweets.
