I have owned the calf a month now. It has been really thriving compared to the rest but its belly seems to be getting really big, im starting to worry about it a bit. Its on meal and straw and eats flat out, even its bedding. My father thought it might be drinking too much but its not drinking anymore than the rest. I must get a picture up on saturday when i get time

we fattened the bull up as it was an on going problem... vet said it was an infection in the navel at birth we sold him to factory as we could not sell him for breeding the way he was , we got€1300 for him .

has he normal manure? we have a yearling bullock with the same bloat. high on left. vet said he'd be ok so left him in to go down and he went up again once we put him out.

sounds the same as our bull... we treated him with bloatguard and injections a few times but it was a waste of time and money
