Emobile Broadband Question

    Hi There,

    I've just recently given up on paying 52eur a month with Eircom for broadband and line rental since I do not use the phone so I'm paying for a service I don't use.

    I am in east meath so options are pretty limited but I've purchased the emobile broadband (that connects to 5 devices) 10 GB a month for 10 euro for the first 6 months and then 20 per month. 12 month contract.

    I'm trying it out today and the internet browsing is fine. Its holding 4 bars which I'm happy with (o2 could barely manage two when I tested it).

    Only really use the net for browsing and the odd youtube video and the odd tv show I've missed, but not much tv. Streaming is very slow and stopping and starting every couple of minutes. I know this is because its mobile broadband.

    Is there anything I can change on my settings to improve streaming? I have tried to search on the net but nothing helpful comes up.

    Also I read on other posts here that you can monitor your usage with Eircom. Do you know if this is possible with Emobile broadband? Don't think I'd use the 10gb but would be handy to monitor to see exactly what my usage is.
