    Hi

Just wondering would any of you have any recent experience of using Skavsta airport in Sweden and the bus connection to central Stockholm. Its the Ryanair airport, and I am wondering is the bus they advertise the only option to get into Stockholm and back to the airport ? From what I've managed to find on-line it seems to be 27euro return ?

Also any advice on places at the airport to change money into the local currency ?

Anything to watch out for using this airport ?

    Thanks , Mike :)

Used it 4 years ago, small airport in the middle of nowhere. The bus is the only real alternative. It's a one hour journey I think.

I was in Stockholm for the New Year, flying into and out of Skavsta. The Ryanair bus or a rental car are your only realistic options. You could make it into town using a local bus and then take a train from there but it would be a major hassle.

There is a money changing place and an ATM next to it. As you walk out of the baggage hall, both are on your left.

Of course, an airport money changing place will always give you terrible rates. If you can, avoid the money changing place and use the ATM. This was what I did as well.
