Presumably she was extended an official invite. Was this from the previous government, the new fine gael led one or some other body? I need someone to blame for flushing all this preparation money down the toilet.

    Ah Google my faithful friend

The Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, is to go on a four-day state visit to the Republic of Ireland on 17 May, Buckingham Palace has said.
The Queen was invited to Ireland by the Republic's President, Mary McAleese, who will formally welcome the monarch at her home in Dublin's Phoenix Park, the Aras an Uachtarain.

Who exactly is responsible for allowing another thread on this unimportant shyte. At least her visit might put Ireland in a positive light for a change and generate some revenue. If your worried about wasted money? You don't have to look too far.

I heard on Matt Copper's show earlier that the president of Waterford I.T. spent €170,000 refurbishing his private office and €140,000 on 'art work'. Now they're the kunts and the wasting of our money that really bothers me.

I'll go against the grain and say that there can never be enough anti-queen threads here. It is a load of feckin shyte.

If I go to a hotel in Spain or America or wherever the fcuk, would I expect everything to be paid for me? Me arse.

And yes I was invited to America or Spain or wherever the fcuk, by the countless tourism adverts on TV, newspapers and other media.

Does anyone know the exact cost of this shyte?

I honestly don't see the problem to be honest. Surely it can only help the public image between both countries?

Weren't you sent there at the Church's expense once the allegations were made?

So these ads mention you by name and invite you on a state visit to America/Spain/whereever the fcuk very interesting.

I didn't know it worked like that

Was there an ad in the paper I missed?

"Dear Queen drop in sometime you are passing regards, Ireland"
