Clicking sort of sound coming from engine ?

I have a 97 starlet, and iv started to notice a sort of clicking sound from the engine. It incresed with in speed along with the revs and is sort of like a squelching clicking sound, which makes me think is it the power steering pump or water pump. any ideas, the car is working fine just need to soft the sound out before…

Make a video and upload it. Would be alot easier to guess at what it might be then

Get it looked at asap! It could be the timing belt, tensioner or water pump failing. A mechanic should be able to identify the source of the noise in a few mins and advise on repair (if nessecary).
