hi myself & girlfriend are currently renting a house in kildare
    the past three years.
landlord has done absolutely nothing for us or the agent
he has that we pay the rent to.
we had a look on the prtb and hes not a registered landlord
so we dont know who to complain to or what to do!
is he in trouble for not registering and it seems strange that all
his post comes here everyday

Could you elaborate a bit more on "what he has not done for you?"

You can still complain to the PRTB despite him not being registered, if you mention this the tables may turn as he will get penalised for not declaring himself a landlord for tax purposes etc

    toilets are broken months!
    mould in bathrooms
we had to replace broken cooker ourselves
    the list goes on!
only contact we have is if we are a couple days late with rent!

should our adress show on the prtb when i search the register?
we have a lease until sept. also but what happens if hes not registered?

The PRTB website is not the most update to date so your better ringing them direct to confirm. If hes not reistered he will have to pay a fine.

If the toilets are broken [and you weren't responsible for them breaking] then you've grounds to break your lease and leave as long as you show you've made every effort to get the LL to fix them and he hasn't.

we have no proof only phone calls to the agent to fix things!!
we never signed any form off the prtb either!
Ideally we would love to break the lease asap
do i blackmail the landlord for my deposit back before lease is up or il report him to the tax man ;)

to cut to the chase my landlord most likely isnt declaring the rent we pay
and not being registered etc obviously thinks he doesnt have to do anything but take the rent!
we want out of this house asap and need our deposit back .
how do i go about doing this? do i tell him i know hes defrauding the tax man and if we can leave with our deposit we will keep stumf as they say;)
