iphone 3g not turning on

    Nothing happened to my phone, just one day it would not switch on.
    Just apple logo, then nothing.
    Ive given it a full charge.
    Ive tried reseting it and loading it up in recovery mode. Nothing, just dead.

    any ideas good folk of boards?

    Try holding the Home on Power button down together for 10 seconds.

    If still no joy on the above it could be the battery same thing happened me with a 2g. Apple logo with nothing happing

    nope. Might be time to upgrade to an old nokia and an ipad.
